We don't want to suggest that we can operate a treadmill much better than anyone else, and we quote literature to demonstrate our knowledge, we offer to experience the difference for you.

Carsten Hahn

Carsten Hahn is founder and owner of Hahn-Training Systems

Sports career

Carsten Hahn began his sporting career in the fourth year with swimming, followed by athletics one year later. Early on he specialized in the "longer" and "hard" courses, e.g. the 200m butterfly, 400m and 1500m freestyle in swimming, 1000-3000m middle distance in running. Carsten Hahn participated in several swimming championships in South Westphalia and West Germany and became multiple South Westphalian and West German champion. As a pupil he was a member of the junior talent squad. After finishing his activity as a swimmer, in 2000, when he was preparing for the Ironman Lanzarote, he set his 1500m best time of 17min 24sec in the speciality course swimming during his sports studies. In athletics Carsten Hahn still holds several club records (as of 2005). Carsten Hahn competed in his first triathlon in 1987 and participated in one of the first German Championships for youth athletes in 1992. He has remained true to triathlon to this day. In addition, he cycled races for training purposes, usually leaving some of the specialists in the C-Class behind him. In 2016 after 5 months of training he finished a 220k training ride, the tourversion od Amstel Gold Race (245km) and the Tourversion of Liege-Bastogne-Liege (278km) on three following weekends.

Parallel to his studies, Carsten acquired the swimming coaches C and B licence. He completed his practical special subjects in swimming and rowing. In the course of his studies Carsten Hahn pursued a targeted development towards his later profession, whereby he carried out several own works and two own investigations. These included:

devote himself 100% to the further development of Hahn Training Systems.

Carsten Hahn worked as a trainer for a triathlon club from 1997-2005, where he was responsible for the coordination of all adult training activities. In this context, Carsten Hahn introduced and implemented the concept of an individual training plan. Later followed the extension to the implementation of lactate diagnostics within the association. In 2004, all of the athletes who had prepared for a marathon or an Ironman set new personal best times.

Carsten Hahn himself was also successful as an athlete, whereby the most important successes were realized through self-compiled training programs. Thomas Hebestreit

Thomas enriches the team almost from the beginning, with his experience as a semi-pro cyclist he is still only sporty versed, but always familiar with the latest material. Through constant further training and handling of the latest technology, he now manages the entire store and mechanic area.
In March 2016 he assembled a Sram Etap here in a German shop, this shows how  he has his nose in the wind since this group was not yet delivered in Germany at that time.

He is also responsible for the whole area of bike-fit, together with Carsten they trained themselves according to the information of the inventors of the wedges and formed themselves further and further, today the measurement with millimetre-precise adjustment during pedaling and torque analysis is unthinkable without.
